Having been married for over a quarter century now (you may recall seeing Walter Cronkite’s special report about us getting married before we were teenagers…) I haven’t found the need to throw my heart out there in a digital format in the hopes that I might find someone worth getting to know better. But, if I were single and looking for friendship, or perhaps love, I think I’d try Plenty of Fish.

Plenty of Fish is free. That makes it an attractive option as you can kick the tires and if you’re smart enough to be even slightly cautious with your personal details it is virtually risk-free.

This “free-ness” has led a lot of singles to register and post their digital selves. In  fact, there are more than 10 million members. This is more than the 5 largest paid dating sites combined.

They don’t charge job search sites to add thier listings leading to a solid critical mass of listings which will lead to continued rapid traffic growth. This is a solid job search site to bookmark so in the likely even that you will someday be looking for a new gig you have it handy.

I like thumbnails of sites when I’m deciding whether or not the click the link so I think this add-on for Firefox  browser users is great.

It took all of 30 seconds to download and then after restarting the browser it was working. Now when I do Google searches the results have thumbnail images of the Websites.

The best Website to use for download is Mozilla’s (Firefox) and can be found here: Google Preview

If you still use Internet Explorer this is a good time to explore using Firefox. Biggest benefit is that it’s faster.

You’ll discover a lot of hot new tools that you’ve never heard of so plan on bookmarking a bunch of them and checking them out over the course of a few days.

It was pretty cool! There were 20 or so moms and a few party crashers like me. I mentioned two of our new sites for moms and dads, momz TV and dadz TV, and could see via the Me.dium viewer in my sidebar several of the moms going to the sites. I got a few positive comments and hopefully one or two will send some suggestions or videos to add.

While I don’t necessarily want people tracking my every move online it’s a great tool to have when online with friends or people with similar interests. Not to mention it’s a great way to meet others with similar interests.

PostSecret is one of the more interesting sites to browse through periodically. The letters, photographs, and postcards with deep dark secrets scribbled on them is fascinating. PostSecret is also the largest advertisement-free blog in the world.
